Between March 7th and March 20th, 2023, the DUO Škofja Loka Handicraft Center presents young artists who seek inspiration for their work in wood.
Klemen Orešnik is a graphic designer by education, but a curious researcher of nature and life at heart, a self-taught visionary painter and maker of SuryaRay ambient lights.
The young creative women are united by their enthusiasm for restoring bent furniture and knitting seat nets. Their paths and different professional worlds meet in the workshop of master Jurij Rihar, from whom they learned weaving techniques. With the acquired knowledge, Gaja Panjtar, Katja Korošec, Maja Svoljšak, Anja Kočar, and Jana Jocif continue their independent work in their way.
You are invited to RC DUO Škofja Loka (Mestni trg 34, Škofja Loka) to learn about the work of young creators who add modern interpretations to handicrafts.
