Bobbin lace making was introduced to Karmen Prelog by her grandmother, who always laced at home.
She started attending a lace-making club and perfected her knowledge together with her grandmother in primary school.
They still create together today, and Karmen also makes modern bobbin lace, especially bobbin jewelry, and she also draws some patterns for her products herself.
