Nina Arnuš and Anka Pintar from Zavod Tri and the Breja preja textile community spent August in Iceland, where they researched and created at the Icelandic Textile Center in Blönduós.
They presented and shared their experience with us on Wednesday, November 12, at 6 p.m. at the Kreativnice Contemporary Textile Center.
The event was intended for anyone thinking about applying for a textile residency or who was simply interested in how to research and create in the far north. Anka and Nina spent August at the Textílmiðstöð Íslands – Þekkingarsetur á Blönduósi textile center. They presented the creative process, everyday life, and the peculiarities of the local textile tradition.
An evening full of inspiration, stories, humor, observations, and experiences… Thank you, Nina and Anka!
