Sales exhibitions by artists and craftspeople
We invite you to start the festive December with a stroll through the old town center of Škofja Loka and discover all 15 locations of the Imagination Showcases. On the opening day, December 3, all exhibition and sales spaces will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Get a brochure and a coupon, walk through all the Imagination Exhibits, and collect at least twelve of the fifteen stamps. Everyone who submits a correctly completed coupon on the opening day by 8 p.m. will receive a prize. You can also collect stamps in the following days of December, as weekly draws will take place every Wednesday. To participate in the final draw, you must submit your correctly completed coupon by Wednesday, December 24, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. at the latest.
The Imagination Display is a joint initiative where every December – this year for the eleventh time – organizations and individuals from the creative and cultural community of Škofja Loka come together and invite visitors to take a stroll through the medieval streets and squares, view exhibitions, engage in relaxed conversations with creators, and make thoughtful gift selections with a personal touch.
Fifteen venues in the old town center open their doors to anyone who wants to avoid crowded shopping centers and is looking for special holiday gifts. The facades of the participating venues – and, of course, their shop windows – will be decorated in a very special way, so you will easily spot them from afar.
By visiting, you are encouraging conscious shopping, with gifts and small tokens of appreciation that come from the local environment and are made with great care by creators.
