Make Your Own Felted Soap

A master craftswoman will introduce you to the world’s oldest textile-making technique. Felting has deep roots in Škofja Loka’s hat-making tradition. Wrap a bar of soap in layers of carded wool and, using warm water and pressure with hands, transform it into a durable, decorative and functional product. Felted soap cleans the skin effectively, helps remove dead skin cells and stimulates circulation. No prior experience is required; therefore, the workshop is ideal for beginners.

Create a Scarf Using the Cobweb Felting Technique

Experience the magic of the cobweb felting technique and create a unique fashion accessory that will become a lasting memory of your travels. Use the softest sheep wool and other natural fibres, combine colours and textures and create either a warm winter scarf or a lightweight summer wrap. The workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and above. Please note: Participants remain standing throughout the scarf-making process. No previous felting experience is necessary, therefore the workshop suitable for anyone interested in wet felting.

The workshop is tailored to your interests and skill level, allowing you to explore the artistic possibilities of wet felting in greater depth.
