Today, Petra Plestenjak Podlogar is the only holder of masterful knowledge of making models for small Loka honeybreads.
The centuries-old tradition of making models and baking “small Loka honeybreads” began in Škofja Loka at the beginning of the 18th century by nuns of the Poor Clares, and today Petra continues and upgrades it with her own motifs and patterns, thus intertwining a rich tradition with modernity.
She also makes other products – modern carvings, book indexes, pendants and carvings on furniture.
