Mama Ladka is a master of shades. She is attracted to natural materials – wool, silk, cotton, which she dyes and prints with plants from the local environment and from her garden.
She dyes Slovenian wool (from Slovenian sheep) with plants, and then makes various products from it or she spuns it on a spinning wheel.
In dyeing and printing, she experiments with different materials and techniques, combining traditional knowledge with modern ones, and making modern products for personal use and home.
