Freising Town Square and Kreativnice Contemporary Textile Center
The lower square was once again filled with the Communal Table!
Members of the Kreativnice Contemporary Textile Center prepared the Common Table, a community picnic enriched with music, and this year the band Motovilc was the guest performer!
Motovilc is a group of five musicians who came together with the desire to play the music that was spinning around in their heads and bodies. They play the violin, guitar, double bass, and scraper. They sing original music based on ethnic sounds. However, it is not defined by genre. It is a reflection of their experience of their surroundings, feelings, and life. This new, not yet well-known band shows promise and brings new musical frequencies to the Škofja Loka area. All members of the band have a wealth of diverse musical experience in various bands, and they pick up the music that floats around them here and there and play it in their own way. Motovilc.
There was also an exhibition of last year’s textile production, TEXTILE IN THE CITY, by authors Silva Horvat, Anja Musek, Lili Panjtar, and Nina Vastl Štefe.
The doors of the Kreatvinice Contemporary Textile Center were also wide open.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in creating a wonderful, colorful, positive, and beautiful summer evening, thus officially concluding the Pisana Loka festival.
