In Lidija Debelak‘s clay reliefs, which represent the aesthetic crossroads of tradition and modernity, we can find a variety of motifs. She finds her inspiration in the small Loka honeybread, wooden inlays of handmade chests, folk literature and beliefs.
Angels, horseshoes, carnations, golden birds, clay combined with bobbin lace, lead us through tradition to more modern motifs made in vivid colors.
