Škofja Loka – the town of Handicrafts, a guided stroll around the town

Before descending to Spodnji trg, a beautiful view opens up of the former Šešir hat factory in Škofja Loka, which until recently operated as one of the last such factories in the world. On Spodnji trg there is a high factory chimney, which with its majesty draws attention to the factory already on the city veduta.

The modern textile center Kreativnice operates on Spodnji trg and connects domestic textile designers and creators. This is a workspace where the textile products of designers and work tools for creation (hand weaving, felting, dyeing wool and other fibers with plants, printing, sewing) are also exhibited.

The walk around the city ends here and after a short break on the benches under the linden tree, it continues with a creative program in the modern textile center Kreativnice.
